Job Opportunity: Physician - Internal Medicine (Gastroenterology)

Join a progressive healthcare system located in Tyler, Texas, offering a collaborative outpatient setting focused on gastroenterology. This practice emphasizes patient-centered care and utilizes advanced technology, including the Epic EMR system. The facility operates Monday through Friday with a supportive staff ready to assist in outpatient screenings and consultations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient care in the GI Lab, conducting screenings and evaluations.
• Work a schedule of Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM and Friday from 7 AM to 12 PM.
• Maintain a patient load of 15-17 encounters per shift.
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APP) to notify patients of results.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training activities.

Qualifications:

• Board certification in Internal Medicine with a focus on Gastroenterology is required.
• Preferred fellowship training in Gastroenterology.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active medical license required (temporary privileges available).
• Board certification must be current and verified.
