Job Description: Scope – Purpose of the position We are seeking a dynamic and strategic National Sales Director – Food Service to lead our business development initiatives and drive revenue growth within the U.S. market. This role involves identifying new opportunities, creating innovative revenue streams, and strengthening our position as a leader in the food solutions industry. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will oversee and mentor one direct report while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals. Key Responsibilities: Design sales and marketing strategies to launch company brands in the Food Service sector, identifying new key business opportunities, prospects, and securing partnerships with operators nationally to develop market presence and increase market share. Lead, coach, and mentor the internal sales team and distributors' sales teams nationwide, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent sales growth. Build and cultivate strong relationships with existing and new clients, facilitating their operational needs, sales meetings, and events. Work closely with customers, prospects, marketing, and sales teams to assist with new product development and setup on platforms like 1World Sync and specific customer platforms. Ensure proper collaboration among sales, marketing, logistics, IT, and customer service teams for effective communication and smooth operations. Guide and assist in creating solid P&L statements for each customer aligned with market conditions. Set ambitious sales targets and establish a roadmap to achieve them. Attend and follow up on industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and represent the Norac group. Lead, support, and develop the skills of your direct report to maximize performance. Marketing: Conduct market benchmarking and monitor trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and make strategic recommendations. Participate in new product and packaging development and improvements. Performance Management: Monitor sales metrics, ensure the database is updated, and provide regular reports to the VP of Sales. Hold weekly meetings with the sales team to assess performance, discuss strategies, and identify improvements. Evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust as necessary. Participate in bi-weekly meetings with logistics to maintain accurate forecasting and process improvements. Finance: Maintain KPIs aligned with company strategies. Ensure budget adherence and communicate updates to the accounting team. Review orders and invoiced deductions monthly. Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by your manager, within your area of expertise. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. At least 10 years of progressive sales experience in food solutions, manufacturing, or FMCG industries. Proven success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets. Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strategic thinker capable of executing in a fast-paced environment.
