The Transplant Medical Science Liaison (MSL) provides comprehensive medical and scientific information related to Sanofi products. The Transplant MSL acts as an advanced field-based scientific professional within the US Medical Affairs division of North American Pharmaceutical Operations. They share scientific and clinical data effectively, communicating directly with US healthcare providers and clinical researchers through compliant scientific exchanges, clinical research, disease state education, and addressing medical education gaps. The role also involves facilitating research, education, and collaborations, supporting the US Medical Affairs mission to generate, translate, and communicate clinical and scientific data for optimal patient care. The primary responsibility of the Transplant MSL is to establish scientific credibility with healthcare stakeholders, communicate the value of Sanofi products, provide insights into medical education gaps, and identify research or educational opportunities. They serve as the principal scientific resource between US Medical Affairs and external healthcare providers involved in pharmaceutical decision-making, engaging in scientific exchange, providing clinical data, and communicating approved clinical information in compliance with SOPs. They also gather and communicate customer insights to internal teams to inform research and facilitate collaborations. Main Responsibilities The main responsibilities include facilitating information, education, and research activities for physicians and healthcare professionals regarding Sanofi's in-development or marketed products. Demonstrate Scientific/Technical Expertise in Solid Organ Transplant Understanding of clinical knowledge and disease states Knowledge of scientific evidence related to Sanofi products and healthcare management Understanding clinical trials methodology and outcomes Connecting healthcare providers and organizations within the territory Translating complex scientific data effectively Utilizing clinical data and guidelines in the field Contributing to US Medical Affairs strategy Manage Regional Responsibilities for Solid Organ Transplant Serve as the primary medical contact in the region Disseminate scientific data in response to requests Create and execute medical engagement initiatives Build relationships with healthcare organizations and professionals Identify educational opportunities and solutions Work across various healthcare provider levels Partner with colleagues adhering to policies Represent healthcare provider needs internally Medical Education and Information Dissemination Engage with thought leaders based on clinical data Communicate scientific data clearly and accurately Serve as a resource for clinical and scientific information Participate in scientific meetings and develop medical tools Collaborate with Field and Office Teams Work effectively within US Medical Affairs and with other departments Support medical strategy and training Contribute to medical meetings and advisory boards Identify and communicate medical gaps and needs Field Insights and Research Partnerships Gather and communicate clinical trends and educational gaps Identify and evaluate clinical investigators and partnerships Compliance and Standards Complete training and adhere to policies Ensure regulatory compliance in all activities Maintain documentation and administrative responsibilities Qualifications Medical, pharmacy, or postgraduate science degree required; MD, PharmD, PhD preferred 3-5 years of experience in solid organ or stem cell transplantation Understanding of healthcare systems, research design, and clinical decision-making Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to think strategically Physical Requirements Extensive computer use; ability to travel up to 75%; driving and lifting as needed Why Join Us?
